Who Are We Looking For?

How new and established businesses flourish will be influenced by your understanding of online media as well as your communication and analytical skills. You are to offer customer service, research, and market analysis on par with Google using your relationship-building abilities. You would anticipate the ways in which judgments are made, constantly delve into and ascertain the business requirements of Google’s most important clients, and comprehend how our assortment of product offerings might expand their business. You would jointly develop the vision and plan for how their advertising will reach thousands of users.

Duties
  • Translate high-level product/user requirements into application architecture design
  • Develop code to support new product features/enhancements in an agile environment
  • Use RESTful APIs to create customer-facing applications
  • Design and implement database schemas for new products/enhancements
  • Ensure quality and performance of developed applications
  • Collaborate with the team on design and development
  • Maintain code integrity, organization, versioning, and object-oriented design principles
  • Perform unit tests and set up automated testing for correctness, robustness, and scalability
  • Work with frontend designers to convert designs to visual elements
  • Ensure code and application security, as well as data protection
  • Develop applications using NodeJs, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, VueJs, and other web technologies
  • Understand the scope and client’s business model
  • Implement best practices and mentor others in their use
  • Demonstrate creativity and efficiency in the usage of components and tools.
Minimum requirement
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in advertising, sales, marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
Preferred Qualification
  • Define the business strategy aligned to the customer’s strategies by analyzing data, trends, client’s performance and business models, and identifying opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain C-level relationships and serve as a point of contact to our customers with the goal of extending relationships, increasing the client’s growth, and optimizing the advertising resources.
  • Develop strategic, forward thinking, data-driven analysis and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to clients.
  • Establish and nurture sustainable relationships with advertisers, agencies, and ecosystem partners to serve as a trusted consultant.
  • Educate the market on Google’s advertising solutions and contribute strategically to the growth, development, and direction of Google’s products and services in Sub Saharan Africa.
