Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $50,000–$140,000 USD 

Location: Remote (UTC-6 to UTC+3) 

The opportunity

We’re looking for a Head of Marketing who can communicate ideas clearly and beautifully, build a world-class brand, and create systems that turn attention into action at scale.

What you’ll do

  • Communicate complex ideas with clarity and warmth
  • Create campaigns that break through
  • Build the marketing systems we need to scale
  • Support our high-profile advocate relationships.
  • Build and run our paid channels and sponsorships
  • Build your team and bring in the right talent. 

Requirements

Please note that we definitely do not expect any candidate to have all of these! In our view, eagerness and aptitude to learn, high-agency in getting things done and judgement/taste can many times be more valuable than actual experience in doing the thing.

  • Experience building email/lifecycle marketing programs
  • Experience running paid acquisition across Google Ads, Meta, or LinkedIn
  • Experience with PR, media relations, or communications strategy
  • Background working with or managing high-profile individuals or influencers
  • Comfort creating or directing short-form video content
  • Proficiency with marketing tools like HubSpot, Mixpanel, or similar
  • Comfort with design tools (Figma, Canva) and web CMS platforms
  • People management aptitude (you may build a small team over time)
  • Experience in or deep familiarity with effective altruism, any of the cause areas we support, or the nonprofit sector

Compensation & Benefits

We’re open to a wide level of previous experience and skills and therefore for this role, we expect the range to be approximately $50,000–$140,000 USD depending on location and experience. We know this is below what top marketing talent can earn at a tech company, we’re looking for people who find that trade-off worth it because of what the work achieves

  • Fully remote work with flexible hours (within UTC-6 to UTC+3 for team overlap)
