Tasks & Obligations
- Develop, implement, and manage the NGO’s social media strategy.
- Create engaging, high-quality content (posts, graphics, videos, etc.) for platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on social media performance metrics to assess engagement and reach.
- Respond to comments and messages promptly, fostering meaningful online community engagement.
- Collaborate with the programs, fundraising, and other teams to align social media campaigns with organizational goals.
- Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices to enhance the organization’s digital presence.
- Ensure all content aligns with the NGO’s mission, values, and branding guidelines.
- Build relationships with online influencers, partners, and media outlets to amplify the NGO’s voice.
- Any other task required by Elim CVTC.
Salary Range
The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education and work location. In addition, some roles may be eligible for additional on target commission pay or bonus. The compensation package includes health and welfare benefits including paid leave.

Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing social media platforms, preferably for an NGO or nonprofit.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and basic video editing skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Passion for social causes and familiarity with the NGO sector is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit.
