Job Description
The Bridge Academy’s management and general supervision fall within the purview of the academy manager. In the end, the job holder is accountable for the seamless operation of the Bridge school, the academic success of its students, and the management of its personnel. For this position, it’s important to be well-known in the neighborhood and at the academy.
Responsibilities
- Using smartphone and tablet technologies to manage operations and track oversight, make sure that the academy’s financial, operational, and educational goals are met. Escalate any issues right away.
- Apply and implement the administrative and educational policies that have been established as directed.
- To promote Bridge and advocate for higher-quality education, cultivate and maintain good partnerships with regional authorities and organizations.
- Conduct a variety of consumer outreach activities to draw new students to Bridge.
- Maintain good relationships with current families and assure their loyalty, prompt payment of fees, and word-of-mouth referrals.
- Help guarantee that students are receiving an education of the highest caliber, oversee and mentor teachers; hire new educators as necessary.
- Make sure the school has all the tools necessary to instruct students, and that learning can take place in a clean, safe setting; oversee non-academic employees.
Qualification
- Education-related university degrees, NCEs, and postgraduate degrees are all options. A bonus is having a certificate from the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
- Three years of teaching experience who is a well-liked teacher (or youth leader).
- Two years of experience leading a group of five to ten employees.
- Experience managing fees, enrolling students, and supervising other teachers is a plus.
- Help promote community development.
- Have ability to treat parents with the utmost respect and find the proper solutions to difficulties.
- Possess the capacity to manage a team and overcome difficulties in day-to-day operations.
