Who Are We Looking For?

To aid Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in their mission to aid those in need, we seek an exceptional Administrative Officer to oversee the delivery of prompt, proficient, and well-organized administrative services. This role requires the implementation of resource management and top-tier service through administrative systems, policies, and protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Guarantee that administrative support functions deliver high-quality services at a reasonable cost, coordinate and report on activities and necessary resources.
  • Assist in ensuring that administrative procedures, rules, and standards adhere to donor and local legislation regulations as well as agency standards.
  • Discuss assigned administrative issues with pertinent outside parties (government representatives, landlords, service providers, etc.) and assist in keeping all necessary authorizations and paperwork current.
  • Organize the effective use of CP resources and rental spaces. Ensure that office supplies are purchased in full compliance with asset management systems.
  • Aid in identifying safety concerns and providing a secure workplace.
  • Organize the provision of staff and visitors with travel and logistics services and assistance. Organize all aspects of event planning, such as delegation visits, workshops, and trainings.
Qualification
  • Knowledge of and proficiency with information management systems and the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Bachelor’s degree is needed. Business administration or a related subject bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Be proactive, inventive, results-driven, and solutions-focused.
  • 1-2 years’ minimum of experience working in increasingly responsible administrative support roles. A plus is prior involvement with a national or international NGO.
  • Possess integrity and the capacity to uphold confidentiality.
  • Excellent client service oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Experience may be replaced in some cases with additional education.
