Tasks & Obligations

We are looking to hire an experienced and talented Investment Manager  with;

  • Serve as Grok’s ultimate expert on local trends in international education and industry dynamics. Update the management team regularly on relevant developments within the region.
  • With support from the AVP Operations, prepare and deliver a semi-annual Geographic Review that reports on the region’s health (from revenue/growth, staffing, and eco-systemic point of view), reviews important developments locally, and reports on key initiatives undertaken within the region.
  • With support from the AVP Operations and strategic partners, monitor the region’s commercial regulatory landscape and ensure local compliance in relation to Grokkers based in your region.
  • Make recommendations and provide advice to Grok’s HR and Administrative function as it pertains to the localization and application of Grok policies in your region.
  • Provide a supporting role to the AVP Operations and HR/Administrative leadership, as it pertains to engaging with strategic partners in your region.
  • Maintain vigilance for the wellbeing of all staff within the region. Maintain a constant awareness of the health of the local culture, staff morale, engagement and general performance.
  • Provide local expertise to Program Officers to support their work and development. Monitor staff performance and morale. Through appropriately timed regular meetings with staff, ensure they are clear on direction, using best practices, and communicating well with their client.
  • Assist Grok’s solution lines with client delivery where local expertise is required.
  • Evaluate the viability of building and successfully delivering specific Grok Communities across different channels including in-country reps (via the miXer), high schools (via GSC /Counsellor Connects), agents and tertiary institutions, as per the strategic need in the region.
  • With oversight from the Deputy Head of Recruitment Solutions and support from the Client Success function, implement the development of approved Grok Communities initiatives in the region.
