The Backend Engineer – Routing & Switching role at Flutterwave will be in charge of integrating international remittance processing, theft control, systematic tracking and reporting of financial transaction to create cutting-edge payment solutions for our clients. the development of a modern, globally scalable, and responsive payment processing platform. Create, improve, and maintain new applications and integrations with external partners.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and deploy industry-best technological frameworks and capability models to reduce costs, improve quality, or boost reliability.
- Educate yourself on the most recent technological advancements in the payment sector and keep up to date with them.
- Development of a brilliant group of engineers through career mentoring, coaching, and development
- Create, establish, and deliver code in an agile environment.
- Utilize RESTful APIs to create applications for users.
- Create database schemas to support and represent new goods and improvements.
- Ensure the best performance and upkeep of developed applications.
- Join the rest of the team in design and development.
- Maintain code organization, version control, and integrity, and use object-oriented design principles.
