Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and committed individual to join the team as we expand across Africa and beyond. Your primary duties as a Chargeback & Refund Analyst will be to monitor and manage chargebacks, representations, arbitrations, and refunds. Responsibilities
  • Control the entire system of chargebacks, representations, and reimbursements.
  • Collection of disputed transactions from acquiring banks in SA and ROA to be recorded on the portal and providing transaction details to merchants for assessment and reaction.
  • Ensure timely cycling within the designated chargeback window by monitoring chargeback disputes.
  • International chargeback involving different currencies for Web (MPGS)
  • Work closely with the compliance team to efficiently track the increase in chargebacks in the SA region, particularly for SA merchants.
  • Regularly compile and consolidate key performance statistics, with the ability to identify gaps and suggest corrective measures.
  • Examine all internal suspense accounts owned by Flutterwave in the SA area and ROA.
  • Generate executive report daily, weekly and monthly
Qualification
  • Proven years of experience in Chargeback Operations
  • Good understanding of the foreign exchange operations and local tax regulations.
  • Outstanding financial analysis, strategic planning, and execution abilities
  • High-Level attention to details
  • Ability to identify errors
  • Powerful relationship management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet set deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Work with minimal supervision and a goal-oriented approach
  • High sense of responsibility, accountability, integrity, and ethical standards
  • Ability to work independently to fulfill assigned tasks
