Tasks and Obligations
  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with Underdog Fantasy’s goals and objectives.
  • Draft internal and external communications, ensuring consistency and clarity in messaging.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, serving as the primary point of contact for press inquiries and media relations.
  • Coordinate public relations efforts, including press releases, media kits, and event planning.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote company products and initiatives through various channels.
  • Act as a liaison between the Head of Communications and other departments, ensuring seamless communication and project coordination.
  • Monitor media coverage and industry trends to provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in a communications role
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Established contacts within the media industry and experience managing media relations.
  • Highly organized with strong project management abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across various departments.
  • Proficiency in digital and social media platforms, as well as familiarity with communication tools and software.

Pay Structure

Our target starting base salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $143,000, plus target equity. The starting base salary will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s skills and experience, among other things.
