Position Overview

As the Content Partnerships Innovator, you’ll forge inventive strategies for diverse video content across Sub-Saharan Africa’s sports landscape on TikTok, engaging both established and emerging stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Sport Content Accounts in Sub-Saharan Africa:
    • Oversee PGC/PUGC portfolio, focusing on content quality and growth.
    • Devise tailored strategies for account and content expansion.
  • Curate and Develop Creator Relationships:
  • Identify and onboard potential creators and partners.
  • Foster relationships via email, social media, and events.
  • Execute Engaging Sports Initiatives:
    • Plan and execute creator and partner initiatives.
    • Identify local opportunities for increased engagement.
  • Enhance Content Performance:
    • Monitor and improve creators’ daily operational performance.
    • Support partnership activities and content effectiveness.
  • Lead Local Campaign Optimization:
    • Set up, run, and analyze campaigns aligned with goals.
    • Optimize campaigns for desired performance metrics.
    • Help evaluate and Implement Strategic Insights.
    • Analyze content data for insights and enhancements.
    • Apply successful strategies and address improvement areas.
  • Collaborate for Integration and Alignment:
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for campaign alignment.
    • Ensure partnership plans align with overall strategies.
  • Stay Ahead in Sports Landscape:
    • Monitor sports trends for partner and user success.
    • Develop narratives and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive Organic Growth:
    • Manage day-to-day partnerships for growth.
    • Administer partnership activities and enhance performance.
Key Competencies

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher qualification, combined with over 3 years of practical involvement in a sports-focused agency or related environment.
  • Proficiency in navigating the African sports content partner landscape and video content platforms.
  • Comprehensive comprehension of the local content partner industry ecosystem.
  • Thorough familiarity with the mobile ecosystem, particularly within the realm of sports.
  • Complete responsibility for the partner and creator acquisition process from inception to partnership maintenance.
  • Strong aptitude for teamwork and adeptness in thriving within a dynamic and exhilarating setting.
  • Proven organizational prowess, adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously within a fast-paced context.
  • Effective communication and time management abilities, coupled with a dynamic and enthusiastic disposition.
  • Past experience in collaborating across functions and managing stakeholders, crucial due to the role’s global cross-functional interaction with TikTok teams.
  • Preferred background in data analytics and report generation.
  • Track record in both business development and content creation.
  • Proficiency in account management and adaptability in managing time.
  • Skillful execution of strategies and plans as per managerial directives.

Additional Bonus Skills:

  • Existing relationships with a strong network of Sports creators, media, brands and public figures.
  • Experience in sports management/sports events/sports landscape in Sub-Saharan Africa (talent management is a plus).
