About This Role

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join Mudflap’s Customer Support Team. Customer obsession is a core value at Mudflap, therefore Customer Support is one of THE most important roles at the company. Our customers are amazing, and you will be helping them succeed with their trucking business.

Tasks and Obligations
  • Perform full cycle scoping, preliminary design, cost estimating, economic analysis, and field development planning.
  • Lead development of project proposals and coordinates submission, clarifications and interfaces processes.
  • Demonstrate effective people skills to interact with clients, service providers, peers and support staff and field personnel.
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively soliciting ideas from relevant stakeholders involved in a project to maintain a high degree of efficiency and ownership to meet the goals and objectives of projects under his/her supervision.
  • See to the supervision and approval of facility modifications, installation, decommissioning, and other related work as well as monitoring costs.
  • Engage and manage outside engineering and construction support (consultants and/or Engineering firms) when necessary.
  • Act as liaison for technical and commercial support during contractual negotiations
  • Demonstrate willingness and availability to travel to field locations on a regular basis, or as needed.
  • Ensure alignment with the Company’s policies, procedures, applicable codes, recommended practices, and all government regulations.
  • Adheres to the company’s values – integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation.
  • Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.
  • Must be adaptable to change and flexible to manage multiple duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • 2+ years prior experience in remote customer support role within fintech or tech start up environments
  • Experience using customer support tools and platforms (example: Zendesk or similar ticketing system)
  • Prior experience working on projects or process improvement initiatives
  • A true passion for customers and delivering the best possible service
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • You are energetic, self-motivated, self-starting, and self-assured
  • You are a multitasker with a high sense of urgency
  • You love fast-paced environments with an “all hands on deck” approach
  • You’re humble and eager to learn with a no-task-too-small mindset
  • You enjoy using your sleuthing skills to problem solve on behalf of customers

Compensation Package

The pay range for this role is $21 – $32 per hour. This information reflects a base range for this position based on current market data, which may be subject to change as new market data becomes available. The candidate’s skills, experience, and other relevant factors will determine the exact compensation. This position may also be eligible for additional incentives such as equity awards or short-term incentives. Our benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, WFH stipend and PTO.
