Employment Summary
Crested with the responsibility to detect and unravel suspicious acts of fraudulent activities. In your role as Fraud Analyst. The aim is to secure loopholes and significantly increase revenue, volume, profit, by preventing online theft and chargebacks.
Assignments
- Detect and analyze potential instances of fraudulent transactions to prevent fraud loss and chargebacks.
- Monitor and analyze fraud and chargeback trends in the market, proposing effective countermeasures.
- Oversee the credit card chargeback process for Visa and Mastercard transactions.
- Verify KYC documents for Jumia Pay customers to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate closely with customer service team on risk-related matters such as blocked transactions or accounts, KYC procedures, etc.
- Coordinate with the finance team to facilitate fraud refunds and manage chargebacks.
- Enforce operational protocols including KYC, ATO, Chargeback, and Dispute management.
- Maintain and update essential risk team schedules.
- Undertake additional assignments as directed by the manager.
Requirements
Qualification
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related field.
- Demonstrate a proficient grasp of payment system dynamics and intricacies.
