As a key account manager, you will be entirely responsible for the client experience and business growth of the important vendors you are entrusted with. It is your obligation to oversee our key suppliers, develop focused specials, and procure the right selection. the marketing team, the vendor experience team, and the commercial operations team are in frequent communication

Obligations
- Ensure the ongoing growth of our current business by taking responsibility for pricing and promotion strategies, collaborating with marketing teams to enhance product content and visibility, and managing stock availability by bringing together teams from various departments to deliver the product to the customer.
- Complete sales performance of the three C’s, vendor management, merchant oversight, and sales strategy monitoring with a goal of boosting the Business unit’s Net Margin Position (NMP) & Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV).
- Customer acquisition through Value Offering, Sales Campaign Management, etc.
- Create and deliver strategic insights to the business unit in order to synchronize important efforts across the board.
- Quantify the impact of the post-promotion analysis for retail and the marketplace on the brand and category.
- Define and optimize curation/assortment selection strategy for your portfolio ensuring relevance of selection/styling to optimize revenues and sales velocity.
- Support product and content creation process to increase assortment live.
- Plan and maintain constant stock availability.
- Trend Spotting: Should be able to identify broader trends and fill category gaps
- Determine which products/subcategories will be promoted on the website and through all marketing channels by creating a weekly marketing plan (Newsletters, Facebook, etc).
- Develop strong analytics to evaluate daily/weekly/monthly performance and optimize further marketing, pricing, and product selection
- Create and maintain Jumia subcategories. By doing a financial analysis of the company, it is possible to maintain the P&L and create quarterly and yearly category strategic plans.
- Work closely with the vendor management team to identify vendors and negotiate contracts to ensure best quality and costs.
- Join together with Jumia Services to increase product availability, cut expenses, and lower our need for working capital. Work closely with system teams to pinpoint the key opportunities for process automation and productivity increases.
