Who Are We Looking For?
Job Duties
- Perform scheduled and immediate maintenance on all mechanical equipment in the plant to ensure proper functioning.
- Develop a customized checklist for plant operations as a supervisor.
- Train team members to enhance their performance and meet standard requirements.
- Delegate machine inspections to Fitters and seek approval from upper management based on their findings.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene through completion of housekeeping tasks.
- Supervise subordinates to ensure adherence to safety procedures and prevent accidents.
- Enforce safety compliance among subordinates to minimize the risk of injuries.
- Coordinate the provision of necessary installation materials from stores as the supervisor.
Qualification
- Mechanical Engineering Diploma (OND)
- Strong 2-3 years of relevant experience in a comparable position
- Expertise in mechanical engineering
- Extensive practical knowledge in the field
- Proficient in English language
- Cognate experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated skills in mechanical systems and processes
- Solid understanding of engineering principles
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
Skills
- Possess first-hand knowledge of mechanical repair.
- Pay close attention to details.
- Be able to multitask and have time-management skills.
- Possess strong problem-solving skills.
