Who Are We Looking For?
We’re seeking a skilled Product Manager to lead our Payments Product team’s Payouts feature. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ideating, designing, developing, testing, analyzing, promoting, and supporting the feature. You’ll oversee the transfer capabilities for merchants on our Flutterwave for Business (B2B) platform, with the aim of providing a top-notch cross-border transfer experience and market-leading payment options to our customers.
As the Product Manager, you’ll be accountable for expanding regional coverage and delivering innovative solutions to meet the rising demands of our customers. Our merchants use this platform to make remittances, pay salaries, and suppliers. Therefore, we require someone who is proficient in these areas and has strong experience in product management.
Responsibilities
- Drive product strategy and vision, ensuring the success of the product.
- Conduct market research to identify client demands and stay aware of competing products in key markets.
- Develop and manage the product roadmap, ensuring timely implementation of new features.
- Build enthusiasm for the product vision among key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Demonstrate new features and ideas to stakeholders for growth.
- Manage product development, coordinating between teams such as product, engineering, QA, expansion, and outside partners.
- Analyze data from recent product releases to gain insights and improve product performance.
- Create and distribute product materials for communication and marketing purposes.
- Collect, analyze, and respond to user feedback about the product.
- Plan and implement product marketing campaigns to drive adoption and growth.
- Facilitate regular meetings with all stakeholders, including senior management, marketing, risk, and compliance, to discuss new initiatives.
- Prepare product reports and release notes for stakeholder consumption.
- Attend relevant conferences and events related to the product.

- 5+ years of fintech product management experience
- Expertise in API-driven products and services
- Global organization experience
- Agile/Scrum certified
- Accreditation from a globally recognized institution
- Deep understanding of industry, customers, and competitors
- Focus on creating long-lasting, customer-centric products
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Impressive presentation and facilitation abilities
- Exceptional people management, supervision, and leadership skills
- Ability to reside and work in South Africa without external funding.
