Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the development, testing, and promotion of our payout feature on the Flutterwave for Business platform. As the Product Manager, you will oversee the transfer capabilities for retailers, ensuring a seamless and market-leading payment experience for our customers across Africa and beyond.
Liabilities
- Lead product strategy and direction, ensuring accountability for product success.
- Conduct market research to identify client needs and assess competitor products in key markets.
- Develop and oversee product strategy, including implementation schedules for new features.
- Inspire key stakeholders and internal teams with the product vision and innovative concepts.
- Drive product development through effective cross-team communication with engineering, QA, expansion, and external partners.
- Analyze data from recent product releases to gain insights and enhance performance.
- Collaborate on creating and distributing product materials and executing marketing campaigns.
- Gather and respond to consumer feedback to continuously improve the product.
- Organize regular meetings with stakeholders from senior management, marketing, risk, and compliance to discuss new initiatives.
- Create product reports and release notes for stakeholders.
- Attend relevant conferences and events to stay up-to-date on industry trends.
Qualification
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated product management expertise within financial services, payments, or both.
- Proficiency in API-based products and services.
- Familiarity with global organizations.
- Certification in Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Degree, coursework, or certification from a globally recognized institution.
Additional Experience
- Proficient understanding of market trends, customer behavior, product lifecycle, and competitive landscape
- Championing the integration of customer experience to develop impactful products
- Exceptional ability in negotiating and communicating effectively
- Outstanding talent in delivering compelling presentations and facilitating discussions
- Proven expertise in leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills
- Capable of residing and operating independently in South Africa without financial support.
