Who Are We Looking For?
The group is looking for a customer-focused, energetic, and devoted tester in order to keep growing and expanding throughout Africa and beyond. As a test analyst, your primary responsibilities will include bug identification, user satisfaction, software quality and dependability, and, as needed, supporting other team members.
Responsibilities
- Be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Develop thorough test plans and test scenarios in close collaboration with business owners and product managers.
- Create quality test cases while creating both positive and negative path scenarios.
- Execute testing and, if necessary, help with automated testing.
- Identify, recreate, and log faults along with suggestions for fixes and improvements if a product fails to live up to expectations or the user experience.
- Keep abreast of new testing techniques and technologies by assessing, learning, and putting them into practice for the benefit of the products.
- Participate in knowledge sharing with other QA team members.
- Perform any other duties that may be required
Qualification
- Credible work experience in software testing (Preferable in the Fintech space).
- Good command of the terms and techniques used in quality assurance.
- Good knowledge of database testing (performance and/or security testing is a plus)
- Good knowledge of any testing tools (Postman, Selenium, Cucumber…)
- Good, working, knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with test management tools (Jira, and/or Testrail)
- strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the capacity to express oneself concisely to all project participants and stakeholders
- Pays meticulous attention to detail.
- Good research skills.
- Good time commitment/management skills
- Self-motivated and willing to learn.
