Who Are We Looking For?

We are seeking a results-oriented and analytically-minded leader for the position of Regional Credit Manager. This individual will utilize data-driven strategies to effectively guide their team in achieving business and financial goals. Additionally, you will play a direct role in managing and optimizing key accounts in the region to ensure their performance and minimize customer turnover.

The ideal candidate must possess advanced expertise in credit risk assessment, credit monitoring, and credit analysis. They will excel at distilling and disseminating this valuable information throughout the field credit network they manage.

Responsibilities
  • The Regional Credit Manager will oversee the management of a credit portfolio within a designated geographical area.
  • Manage and maximize profitability of loan portfolio within the region
  • You will meet loan disbursement targets for the assigned region
  • Maintain loan portfolio performance and keep default rates below acceptable minimums
  • Ensure effective performance and growth of field network in the region
  • Key account management for major customers
  • Proactively monitor and manage credit portfolio to prevent defaults
  • Provide continuous education, training, and mentorship to field credit network
  • Identify, recruit, promote, and mentor talented individuals in the field credit network
  • Perform additional credit-related tasks as assigned by supervisor
Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (H.ND) in a business-related field
  • 5+ years of sales experience in credit products within the financial sector
  • Track record of successfully managing large loan portfolios
  • Proficient in credit risk analysis and monitoring
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis with additional advantage
