Job Description
To lead the African Delivery Operations squad, Bolt is looking for a Regional Manager (Africa) to join the Bolt Food team. In addition to researching and launching new markets, also charged with fostering growth and profitability in active African markets. You will be held responsible for the growth, earnings, and profitability of the food delivery business in Africa.
This strategic position will work closely with top management and report to them. Working with extremely intelligent individuals from all around the world to build the next generation of a genuinely global food delivery platform is an amazing once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Responsibilities
- You’ll oversee regional activities in the designated area..
- Research and oversee the expansion of the Bolt Food company into other markets.
- In the designated region, control business expansion, P&L, and value-based strategy.
- Create data-driven decisions that will advance the company’s growth and increase operational effectiveness.
- Recognize the region’s and other countries’ commercial prospects and needs, and promptly address them.
- Work closely with local operations teams as well as key HQ stakeholders in product, marketing, management, and operations.
- You will be responsible for hiring new employees, inspiring them, and developing potential within regional teams.
- Control regional Bolt Food-related legal, PR, and GR issues.
Qualification
- Experience in operations, business development, strategy, consulting, or a related subject for at least five years.
- Possess a strong leaning toward action and data-driven judgment.
- Have a track record of managing and leading high-performing teams
- Be an English native speaker
