Who Are We Looking For?

In South Africa, Flutterwave is looking for a Retail Sales Lead who will be responsible for managing the growth and expansion of the company’s sales operations, from conceptualization to implementation in the targeted local market and offerings in accordance with best practices and legal requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Forging awesome relationships with clients and customers.
  • Work cross-functionally with other Flutterwave divisions internally.
  • Quick learner who can understand the fintech/payments/banking, industry, and the
    problems we are solving.
  • Driving user adoption (active users), traffic, and income with a constant, all-encompassing emphasis.
  • Identify and forecast monthly business with accuracy.
  • Align activities with top-line revenue goals by implementing a metrics-driven approach.
  • Align activities with top-line revenue targets by implementing a metrics-driven strategy.
  • Work closely with the central Retail team to enhance their comprehension of the target market and the SMEs in the home nation.
  • Build a thorough grasp of consumer behavior, needs, and motivations in the neighborhood market.
  • Utilize your first-hand knowledge and third-party data to locate local market expansion prospects.
  • Successfully drive the Flutterwave brand and drive brand awareness, through offline events, identifying sponsorship opportunities and initiating partnerships/affiliate relationships.
  • Supporting all forms of digital media including social and content writing, and helping the central team plan proactive social content.
  • Recognize local market social media trends to create timely content.
  • Consult the product development team regarding the local market’s perception of the product’s specs, including its design and characteristics that are pertinent to the market.
  • Promote Flutterwave products by organizing or taking part in promotional activities such as tradeshows, working with developers, advertisers, or production managers.
  • Launch market research or business surveys to find potential markets.
  • Observe deadlines for internal reporting needs.
Qualification
  • Technical expertise of the organization’s business, product, and service offerings as well as its strategy
  • Excellent understanding of local and international industry dynamics, including rules, laws, and operating environments.
  • Excellent knowledge of macroeconomic and microeconomic variables and how they affect company.
