The Schwarzman Scholars Scholarship Program Details:
This fully-funded master’s program at Tsinghua University in Beijing aims to establish a network of future leaders who can enhance China’s relationship with other nations globally. The program spans one year.
Who is Eligible to Apply?
Candidates must meet the following criteria in addition to demonstrating outstanding leadership skills, the ability to anticipate and respond to emerging trends and changes in their environment, a high level of intellectual ability, and impeccable personal qualities.
- Age Criteria: Applicants must be aged between 18 and 29 years old as of August 1 of the year they plan to enroll in Schwarzman Scholars program.
- English Language Proficiency: Applicants must possess exceptional English language proficiency. Candidates who have completed their undergraduate degree in an institution where English was the primary language of instruction for at least two years or have studied at a Master’s level or higher in English for two years or more are exempt from this requirement. However, applicants who do not meet these exemptions must submit official English proficiency test results such as TOEFL iBT with a minimum score of 100 or IELTS with a minimum rating of 7, or Advanced (C1) or Proficiency (C2) levels of Cambridge English with a minimum rating of 185.
- Academic Qualification: Applicants must be on track to complete all degree requirements by August 1 of their enrollment year. There are no specific undergraduate major requirements, but it is essential for applicants to articulate how their participation in the program will enhance their leadership potential in their chosen profession.

Scholars will receive a comprehensive scholarship, including:
