What You’ll Do For Us
The Agoda marketing team is heavily data-driven and committed to creating large-scale, quantifiable marketing initiatives that will increase Agoda customers’ lifetime value. The group brings together some of the top analysts, marketing strategists, and data scientists, creating a group that thrives on information, original thinking, and technology. Responsibilities
- Optimizing campaign performance through experimentation: Test different ad/campaign formats, bidding and pricing schemes on partners like Google, Bing, TripAdvisor, Trivago, and other search engines. Changes from successful tests are implemented after you adapt to new product features.
- Examine enormous amounts of data produced by experiments, create predictive models using data science techniques (for example, understanding the impact on bookings from large-scale TV campaigns or demand elasticity from pricing optimization), and communicate with product teams on an implementation roadmap.
- Reporting, analysis, and insights: Constructing dashboards to monitor performance, gather information, comprehend development levers, and convey advice to stakeholders through presentations
Qualification
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative subject from a prestigious university (computer science, mathematics, engineering business or science)
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- 2+ years of data processing experience from top-tier consultancy, investment banking, private equity, or strategy/business for a rapidly expanding global tech company
- Knowledge of at least one data analysis program or database, such as SAS, R, SPSS, Python, VBA, or SQL, as well as a visualization tool, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Ability to make decisions quickly and effectively, basing them on facts rather than feelings
- Innate urge to assume responsibility, make a difference, and affect results
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational abilities, and independence
Additional Requirements
