As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in achieving this goal. Your primary responsibility will involve creating exceptional product experiences and pushing the boundaries of the Okra brand through cutting-edge visual design methods.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the growth of the brand and the product as a whole.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the product, engineering, and business teams
- Drive new solutions in alignment with corporate objectives and metrics by comprehending the breadth and requirements.
- Effectively use data and research into design decisions
- Develop high quality images, wireframes, prototypes, and flows.
- Ensure high-quality implementation, and carefully collaborate with engineers and other partners.
- Utilize and strengthen internal design systems
- Converse frequently with consumers and customers
- Regularly present work and share feedback with other designers
- Mentor and foster growth amongst your design team
- Maintain a competitive edge by staying up to date in interaction, UI, and visual design.
Qualification
- 3 to 5 years of experience developing and deploying digital products.
- A desire to solve problems in UX, UI, visual design, and interaction with the best possible solutions
- Knowledge of scaling design systems across the entire organization
- The capacity to strongly support design and to act as its strong advocate
Additional Requirements
- Advantageous to be skilled in animation and illustration
- Passionate about the product and brand design verticals
- Superb team player
- Excellent communication abilities in both writing and speaking
- Capacity to reason through difficult design issues
