Who Are We Scouting For?
As Strategic Operations Officer you’ll be an essential part of our dynamic team, devoted to providing extraordinary support for strategy formulation, business development, and forecasting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to address market competition, changing customer preferences, and advancements in technology and marketing tools
- Utilize market research, trends, and competitor analysis to boost revenue, enhance market share, and foster customer loyalty
- Plan and implement sales and marketing initiatives Negotiate and execute vendor agreements, distribution partnerships, and collaborations
- Conduct market analysis in alignment with the team’s strategy Provide analytical support across various business functions
- Summarize analysis findings and effectively communicate insights to executives
- Create client-facing materials and internal documents Identify and act upon new business opportunities
- Conduct custom research, due diligence, and market assessments
- Prepare proposals for prospective clients
- Coordinate administrative support for training programs and produce post-training reports
- Assist the team lead with administrative tasks and training materials
- Evaluate competitor performance and positioning, and anticipate changes and opportunities
- Respond to ongoing requests for market and competitive information
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base to inform organizational strategy
- Serve as the primary point of contact for executives, employees, clients, and external partners
- Manage information flow accurately and efficiently
- Handle executive calendars and arrange meetings.
- Coordinate travel and accommodation logistics.
- Monitor daily expenses and generate periodic reports
- Supervise other clerical staff.
- Maintain and format internal and external communications, including memos, emails, presentations, and reports.
- Record meeting minutes
- Manage phone calls and handle correspondence
- Organize and manage the office filing system.
- Assume additional responsibilities and assist with special projects as necessary.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required, a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Candidates should have a strong academic background in business administration, economics, related fields, or a science degree.
- Proficient in customer research, strategy development, design, testing, and change management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, tech-savvy, and innovative thinking.
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Organized, detail-oriented, with rudimentary project management skills.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to analyze data objectively and think critically to solve complex business problems.
- Adaptability and comfort with decision-making in uncertain situations.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for data analysis and presentations.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including interaction with senior executives.
- NYSC Discharge Certificate Required: Mandatory for Nigerian applicants.
