Who Are We Looking For?
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies
  • The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in agriculture or a related field.
  • Have prior experience working with small-holder farmers in rural communities and stakeholders in the grain value chain would be an advantage.
  • Be an experienced agronomist with at least 5 to 10 years of work experience in agriculture or a related field.

  • Confidently expresses their ideas and opinions when appropriate.
  • Possesses exceptional interpersonal, persuasive, and communication skills to effectively engage with suppliers and external stakeholders.

  • Exhibits outstanding project management skills, utilizing appropriate tools and methods with a focus on achieving results.
  • Proficient in task delegation and prioritization.
  • Thrives in demanding and high-pressure work environments.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure the distribution of baby food grade cereals and grains to Nestlé companies in the region by coordinating upstream and downstream infrastructure.
  • Execute all Nestlé programs, tools, and initiatives, including CSV (Creating Shared Value), to achieve goals and KPIs (cost, quality, volumes, and people) based on business priorities.
  • Lead projects to improve the quality standards of sourced raw materials.
  • Develop and implement regional strategies for regenerative/climate-smart agriculture to fulfill Nestlé’s global sustainability (Net Zero) commitments.
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with the rural community, including farmers, suppliers, government, associations, businesses, and competitors.
  • Enhance the capabilities of external organizations or partners in local agriculture.
  • Collaborate with grain suppliers to identify and implement strategies and investments.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure supply and meet obligations.
