Flutterwave searching for a skilled and experienced Lead Acquiring Processing Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the integration of global payment processing, fraud management, payment security, and reporting systems. You will lead the design and construction of a cutting-edge, massively scalable, real-time payment processing technology. In collaboration with external partners, you will develop, improve, and manage new integrations and applications.
Functions
- Research and implement technology frameworks/models for cost control, quality improvement, and reliability enhancement.
- Stay updated with the latest technology infrastructure and processes in the payment industry.
- Provide career mentoring, coaching, and development to a group of talented engineers.
- Design, develop, and deliver agile code that supports new product features and enhancements.
- Develop customer-facing applications with RESTful APIs.
- Create database schemas to support new products and enhancements.
- Maintain application quality and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with the team in design and development.
- Ensure code integrity, organization, versioning, and apply object-oriented design principles.
- Conduct unit tests and automated testing of applications for correctness, robustness, and scalability.
- Work with frontend designers to convert designs into visual elements.
- Maintain code and application security to ensure data protection.
- Develop applications using back-end programming languages (Java, .NET, PHP) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery).
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the organization’s strategy, product, and service offerings.
- Possess an understanding of both front-end and back-end languages and SEO standards.
- Demonstrate excellent computer programming and creative skills.
