Job Description
- Control activities for receiving, warehousing, distribution, and upkeep.
- Establish a plan and be sure to use the area effectively.
- Create, plan, and implement the best operational policies and processes.
- Observe all warehouse, shipping, and handling regulations.
- Uphold standards for hygiene, security, and health
- Control inventory and check your data storage system’s accuracy.
- Prepare annual budget
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies
- Plan work rotations, give tasks the proper attention, and evaluate outcomes.
- Recruit, select, orient, coach, and motivate employees
- Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, etc.)
- Obtain suggestions and keep an eye on the level of service delivery
- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with the company’s policies and vision
REQUIREMENT & SKILLS
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practice
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Leadership qualities and staff management abilities
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Must have worked in a store’s outlet.
- BS in business administration, supply chain management, or logistics
