Qatar Airways (QR) is reinventing how it interacts with its customers as part of an exciting transformational journey. As a part of this journey, we are now seeking for the role of Senior Account Manager.
Who Are We Looking For?
From your location in Kano, Nigeria, you will be in charge of managing Qatar Airways’ client relationships. As you build a pipeline of sales prospects, you will be in charge of managing and strengthening existing ties with Qatar Airways and our clients. You will take part in developing an effective, trustworthy approach to working with domestic and foreign clients that will increase profits and decrease operating costs. You will participate in cooperative sales and marketing activities to raise the amount and caliber of QR revenue sold through these partners and to boost the effectiveness of the distribution operations.
Responsibilities
- Create and preserve lasting strategic connections with Qatar Airways customers.
- Create and carry out account development plans based on data to achieve short-, medium-, and long-term mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Participate in the creation and execution of the QR sales strategy to enhance short- and long-term revenue prospects, lower cost of sales, and, where necessary, create channel shift.
- Review QR sales data with account portfolio to drive revenue and seek out both long term and tactical revenue opportunities.
- Manage and coordinate initiatives and projects on the Sales Manager’s behalf. Create strategic sales and marketing initiatives in support of all available sales possibilities.
- Maximize the return on marketing investments while managing personal spending budgets.
- Provide regular Market Intelligence and feedback from customers and competitors.
- Represent QR at trade events, promotions and sales functions, including supporting educational and familiarization visits.
- Increase sales prospects by working with value-added partners like tourism organizations, frequent flyer program affiliates, alliance partners, and codeshare partners.
Key Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven track record of trade and corporate account management.
- 5 years industry experience
- Strong skills in prospecting, negotiating and closing
- A strong ability to work independently and think creatively, as well as strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication abilities and business language proficiency
