Job Description
For Bolt’s Food Delivery team, we are on the look out for a Senior Courier Operations Specialist. For our food delivery operations, the Senior Courier Operations Specialist will be controlling the market’s supply of couriers, including expanding our present supply and enhancing quality and performance.
In addition to finding and promoting performance improvements within the Courier Operations organization, they will be activating, onboarding, and training new courier and/or fleet leads that drive our operation in the market. The position will involve close collaboration with the country manager and will have a direct bearing on the expansion of the company by meeting supply growth milestones and important performance indicators.
Responsibilities
- Support all of Nigeria’s meal delivery initiatives run by Bolt. Create and improve procedures – Since efficiency is our top goal, you’ll aid us in determining how to conduct business most effectively.
- By analyzing data, you will assist us in determining the most effective strategy to turn thousands of leads each month into active couriers.
- Review the important operational parameters that characterize the performance of our marketplace business, including the utilization rate, rejected orders, online hours, and delivery time. You’ll be trying to find ways to make these numbers better.
- Determine the necessary number of couriers. Identifying the supply targets we need and devising fresh strategies to engage them on our platform.
- Creating and putting into action strategies. Delivery time improvements, churn avoidance, regulating under- and oversupply, and providing incentives to couriers. Weekly tasks involving these and other problems will be given to you.
Qualification
- A bachelor’s degree in operations, business administration, or a comparable subject.
- Possess at least two years of relevant experience working with data and metrics that needs to be monitored and improved.
- Experience in project-related tasks is a plus, especially if it involves analytics, consulting, or sales operations.
