Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Department: Accounting & External Reporting

Job Mode: Full-Time

Responsibilities
  • Support accounting and external reporting tasks, such as balance sheet reconciliations, KPIs, fixed assets, restructuring, and intercompany charges, as well as accurate and timely U.S. GAAP reporting.
  • You will also assist Mondelēz International Business Services and other third-party service providers as needed with their month-end close, quarter-end close, year-end close, statistical reporting, and statutory audit activities.
  • Comply with Mondelēz International’s AER regulations and help to create a solid controls and compliance environment. Moreover, you’ll assist audit efforts and offer details when an auditor asks for them.
  • Fulfill requests for specific projects and analyses
  • Adopt a philosophy of constant development. Additionally, you’ll find strategies to make your area of responsibility work better.
  • Participate in a productive Accounting and External Reporting (AER) team while making an investment in your own personal growth.
Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field.
  • Fluency spoken and written English
  • Good familiarity with MS Office and its programs, particularly MS Excel
  • Thorough knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities

  • High integrity and ethical standards
  • Experience in tax consulting of at least 4 years, preferably in a Big 4 firm
  • A track record of managing/handling tax audits
