What You’ll Do For Us
As the Senior Civil Engineer, You will be a member of a team of engineers who work on both big and little projects, offering engineering services.
The thorough engineering phase of multidisciplinary projects requires the preparation of engineering calculations, technical specifications, data sheets, and reports by the civil engineer. A team of civil, hydrotechnical, geotechnical, designers, draftspeople, and GIS analysts are under the direction of the Head Civil Engineer, who supports the Engineering Manager in the position.
Responsibilities
- You would have the responsibility of providing leadership and supporting the discipline’s technical difficulties in their resolution.
- You will work on a variety of projects, including ones involving utilities like pump stations, dams, drainage, and permanent way layouts, as well as earthmoving, road and rail design, airstrips, villages, residential and commercial developments, and utilities like road and rail design.
- With regards to scope, quantity, cost, and schedule, you will assist the lead civil engineer or engineering manager in delivering the project requirements.
- Along with the lead civil engineer or engineering manager, you will prepare engineering work packages (EWPs).
- You will plan and allocate work projects to people using signed off EWPs, and you’ll keep an eye on their progress and quality.
- Along with the other disciplines, you will develop the personnel timetable as part of the engineering and project schedule.
- To be included in the project-specific execution plan, you will create the civil work plan.
- You will create, maintain, and update the project scope of work documentation as necessary throughout the design development.
Qualification
- A degree in civil engineering from a university with accreditation
- 10 years of relevant civil design and management experience
- Professional accreditation that is registered.
- Have extensive knowledge of the Civil3D program
- Ability to lead and delegate to people in order to meet quality, cost, and schedule goals.
- Knowledge of undertaking initiatives in a multidisciplinary setting
- Solid knowledge of design engineering standards and guidelines
