University of Birmingham Program Details:
The University of Birmingham is pleased to declare that it will grant four £2,500 scholarships to applicants with Nigerian addresses who seek admission to an undergraduate program at the university starting in September 2023.
These scholarships are jointly offered with our local partners, namely Bridge House Counselling, Brookstone International Foundation Schools Abuja, Port Harcourt, Oxbridge Tutorial College (Lagos and Lekki), SI-UK (‘Study In-UK,’ UKEAS, and Zamani College.
Furthermore, our officer in-country will manage the scholarships. The scholarships will be awarded to the top-performing students who commence their University of Birmingham programs during the 2023–2024 academic year.

The scholarship provides £2,500 for the initial year’s tuition fees of a full-time undergraduate degree course at the University of Birmingham in the UK, starting in September 2023.

Eligibility Criteria:
The following is important information regarding eligibility for a scholarship at the University of Birmingham in the UK:
Applicants for the MBChB Medicine and Surgery or BDS Dental Surgery programs, as well as those currently enrolled in a program at the University, are not eligible for this scholarship.
To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must:
- Have accepted an offer to study at the University of Birmingham as their top choice for a full-time undergraduate program starting in September 2023, and be starting their first year at the Birmingham campus.
- Meet the academic requirements for acceptance into their chosen program.
- Be classified as Nigeria domiciled.
- Have the ability to pay the remaining tuition fees not covered by the scholarship.
- Be classified by the university as an overseas fee payer for tuition purposes.
- Possess sufficient funds to cover all living expenses at the University of Birmingham.
- Must resume studies at the University in September 2023 as the scholarship grant cannot be deferred.
- Register with one of the University’s local representatives and have their undergraduate application attached to that representative.
- Accept the scholarship offer from the University of Birmingham.
- Make Birmingham their top option.
- Contact one of the University’s local agents by the scholarship application deadline of July 31, 2023.
- Pay their net tuition payments for the first year after enrolling in September 2023 by November 1st, shortly after enrollment.
How to Apply :
To be eligible for the scholarship award, students must accept Birmingham’s offer, select it as their firm choice, and register with a local agent listed above, all before the scholarship deadline of July 31, 2023.
