Who Are We Looking For?
We’re delighted to present an exceptional opening for the role of Airport Services Duty Supervisor within our vibrant Airport Operations team based in Lagos. In this role, you will oversee and manage critical flight-handling functions, including Flight Editing, Check-in, Transfers, and Boarding, with a paramount focus on upholding elevated service benchmarks.
Your primary objectives will encompass ensuring the delivery of top-tier customer satisfaction and the punctual departure of flights. Proficiency in addressing challenges like flight delays, disruptions, and denied boarding will be instrumental in excelling within this role. Additionally, you will assume the responsibilities of the Airport Services Duty Officer and/or Airport Representative as needed.

Responsibilities
- Station Coordinator responsible for seamless liaison with GHA and QR Department.
- Collaborates closely with GHA and all airport divisions to meet on-time performance goals.
- Oversees and drives on-time flight closure and passenger boarding progress.
- Leads airport team to achieve punctuality targets.
- Streamlines Ramp Handling in coordination with GHA, Caterers, Fuels, Maintenance, Cargo, and Crew for swift departures.
- Strategically allocates duties to Customer Service Agents, optimizing resource utilization.
- Ensures optimal manpower usage during duty hours.
- Reviews aircraft allocations based on Movement Signals, Late Arrivals, and Loads.
- Communicates operational messages and requirements across all departments.
- Assists Airport Services Duty Officer during Flight Disruptions, Misconnections, and Denied Boarding incidents, ensuring comprehensive passenger support.
- Provides passenger assistance during disruptions within assigned shift.
- Executes additional duties to ensure efficient work unit operations.
- Undertakes any assigned operational responsibilities directed by the Airport Services Manager.
Key Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Extensive training in Advanced Customer Relations: Passenger services (Altea), Baggage Services (World Tracer), Ground operations (GSM/GOM)
- Expertise in Dangerous Goods Regulations, weight and balance
- Sound mastery of Amadeus Reservations & Ticketing, encompassing ID/AD tickets (Industrial/Agent Discounted tickets)
- Strong computer literacy
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
