Role Summary
The Social Media & Content Associate (L2) supports the planning, execution, and optimisation of the organisation’s social media and content efforts. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day social media activities, contributing to campaign execution, analyzing performance, and ensuring content aligns with the brand voice and goals.
The Ideal candidate is creative, date-aware, community-driven, and comfortable managing daily social media operations while contributing to larger campaigns and initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own and manage all social media platforms
- Develop, create, schedule, and publish content aligned with programs and campaigns
- Run organic and paid social media campaigns and track performance
- Build and maintain a content bank (testimonials, stories, behind-the-scenes content)
- Support organisation-wide campaign planning and content execution
- Manage community engagement across comments, DMs, and interactions
- Monitor analytics, prepare monthly reports, and optimize content based on insights
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience managing social media and digital content for brands, communities, or organizations
- Hands-on experience managing multiple social media platforms, including Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Youtube, and Facebook. (Prior experience with managing Youtube at organization level)
- Solid content creation skills, especially video content (shooting, editing, and storytelling)
- Good understanding of social media analytics, reporting, and performance tracking tools
- Experience managing or supporting paid social media advertising campaigns
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns, timelines, and priorities with minimal supervision
- Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple campaigns and deadlines
- Familiarity with tech, education, nonprofit, or community-driven organizations is a plus
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Availability for occasional travel (local / international), depending on program and organizational requirements.
Compensation Package
₦220,000 – ₦280,000 net per month (based on experience)
