Role Summary
Quidax is recruiting an Infrastructure Security Engineer to strengthen and scale its cybersecurity operations within a fast-growing crypto and fintech environment. The role focuses on cloud security, infrastructure protection, vulnerability management, automation, and security monitoring across critical systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- Configure and optimize security tools and infrastructure
- Manage SIEM, EDR, WAF, firewalls, and threat management systems
- Conduct security reviews and compliance assessments
- Support vulnerability management and remediation processes
- Improve security monitoring, detection, and automated response systems
- Secure multi-cloud infrastructure and network environments
- Automate repetitive security operations tasks
- Work closely with Engineering and DevOps teams on secure deployments
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and access management processes
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong experience securing cloud-native environments
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, WAFs, firewalls, and vulnerability management tools
- Good understanding of networking concepts and cloud security
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience collaborating with Engineering and DevOps teams
- Passion for cybersecurity and continuous learning
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Experience in fintech, blockchain, or financial systems security
- Knowledge of DevSecOps processes
- Experience with Python, Terraform, or Ansible
- Understanding of blockchain and AI security concepts
- Certifications such as CCSP, CEH, CCNP, Security+, AWS, or PCNSE
