Who Are We Looking For?
The position serves as a senior compliance expert and leader for the Fiat business unit by developing and overseeing the compliance plan, managing interactions between Fiat, central and regional compliance, risk, and the pertinent local entities and teams, and ensuring that all compliance requirements are met and optimized. It also manages relationships with important third parties.
Responsibilities
- Review and execute any necessary regulatory changes, and train the business as necessary.
- Create a pan-Fiat compliance plan with coordinated efforts across all areas to make sure it is managed in line with the BU’s goals and that best practices are included into Fiat goods and services.
- Advising on and managing any relevant aspects of the FCA, ACPR, FIU, etc. compliance strategy, as well as creating reports as needed
- Leading on DD and reverse DD contacts, as well as managing connections with banks, regulators, and third-party payment providers on behalf of the Fiat team.
- As required, offer personnel guidance, training, and assistance to ensure compliance with the Fiat compliance plans.
Qualification
- Strong experience of Compliance in a similar environment (ideally Crypto / Fintech / Payments), with minimum of seven years experience
- Understanding of important regulatory frameworks, such as FCA, ACPR/AMF, BoL, MSA, etc.
- Having the capacity to interact and discuss issues with senior staff members of regulated businesses, payment providers, and financial institutions
- Possessing strong execution skills and the ability to efficiently organize workload and allotted tasks
- Possessing the capacity to offer and convey assistance and recommendations in a way that is both practical and business-oriented

- Exceptional literacy and communication abilities, along with the capacity for negotiation and influence, and a proven track record of implementation.
- Knowledge of the best compliance tools in the business and proficiency with standard office software products are advantages.
