Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Account and Finance Manager to oversee our company’s financial operations. This includes budgeting, financial planning, analysis, and managing accounts. The role also involves ensuring compliance with financial regulations and providing insightful financial reports and recommendations to senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor day-to-day financial operations such as invoicing, advances, reimbursements, payroll, and other transactions.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting and month-end closing processes.
- Manage the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial and management reports.
- Oversee company sales of LPG and Value Added Services
- Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks and projects.
- Develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Make estimates of funds required for short and long-term financial objectives.
- Provide financial insight and analysis to drive business performance.
- Evaluate the financial performance of the organization and measure returns on investments.
- Understand and calculate the risks involved in the financial activities of the organization.
- Complete financial reports, lead month-end closing processes, and conduct monthly financial forecasts.
- Manage the preparation of budgets.
- Monitor and track budget implementation across the organization.
- Lead and manage the finance team effectively.
- Communicate complex financial issues and models in a clear, concise manner to stakeholders.
- Exhibit excellent communication, business presentation, and persuasion skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Accounting certifications (e.g., ICAN, ACCA)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Account and Finance Manager or similar leadership role
- At least 4 years of experience in accounting
- Strong knowledge of financial management and accounting principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in the LPG industry is a plus
