Glovo is a hyperlocal marketplace that offers the hippest spots in every city and delivers their goods in under 30 minutes.
We wish to develop by making everything in cities easily reachable. In a company where time is of the essence, we want a 360-degree, analytical, and results-driven individual to run the rapid commerce business. You will conduct yourself within our organization as a startup, so you must be a builder.
The ideal candidate will need to exhibit a high degree of independence, inventiveness, and responsibility because this is a crucial function. An experienced scaling a fledgling brand locally or regionally will be a must for the position.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain connections with Nigeria’s leading grocery and retail partners.
- Assist the commercial team in bringing on new partners for our platform and the account management team in fostering the expansion of current partners.
- Analyze the key KPIs of our partners’ businesses and be accountable for their progress MoM. Metrics for measuring and reporting performance
- Create and carry out strategies to increase the growth of your partners through promotions, negotiations, marketing initiatives, and menu performance (selling items, AOV, Conversion Rate, cross selling and upselling)
- Lead contract renegotiations to create a solid working relationship based on mutually beneficial economics
- Receive input from our partners and use it to enhance the products, marketing, and operations
- Give the key stakeholders visibility into the project status through analytical reports, and then follow up on next steps.
- Actively cooperate with your coworkers and learn from one another in a positive setting that enables you to advance and change the world.
Qualification
- 7+ years of experience working in difficult and ever moving environments (FMCG, retail, startups, top consulting firms, top internet firms)
- Motivated to start a business from scratch. You should be naturally inclined to take action and be deadline- and goal-oriented.
- Possess the capacity to recruit, oversee, and keep a top talent team
- Be able to bargain with major retail players and position yourself to get a great offer.
- knowledge of revenue patterns and drivers as well as retail business.
