Job Description Summary:
What You’ll Do for Us
As an Information Technology officer, you will play a pivotal role in implementing and optimizing technological advancements. Your responsibilities will involve developing and implementing innovative IT solutions to enhance overall operational efficiency. Additionally, you will have the authority to evaluate and authorize the adoption of new IT solutions, thereby ensuring continuous improvement within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Handle Microsoft Dynamics Business central system Support.
- Assist in Updating and managing the ERP system to ensure it provides the company with proper business solutions and accurate results.
- Assist in Coordination and managing the organization’s use of master files, roles, user views, data control, reporting, and data integrity.
- Aid in Designing and running monthly/quarterly reports to test that data integrity and accuracy within the system.
- Handle JET reports support to users.
- Manage databases and input information, data, and records.
- Update and maintain ERP Issue Tracker.
- Perform systems, network, communications, and database management, and administration & user support.
- Diagnosing and fixing problems or potential problems within the network and its hardware, software, and computer systems.
- Maintain an IT inventory for all of the organization’s IT assets, and perform routine preventive maintenance on each one while logging it.
- Preparing regular reports on IT support issues, incidence logs, and any other relevant report that may be asked by the supervisor.
- Providing technical support to field teams from various projects.
- setting up peripherals like printers or routers, configuring hardware and software, fixing broken equipment, and offering regular user assistance.
- Monitoring network, firewall, and computer systems to ensure 99.9% uptime, security & improved performance.
- Provide support in setting up & conducting end-user training for all relevant IT platforms.
- Ensuring all IT infrastructure e.g., Network, CCTV Surveillance & biometric systems are functional and liaising with vendors for regular maintenance.
- Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or IT-related field.
- Understanding and experience in the use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business central or NAV release year 2017 and upwards of not less than 2yrs
- Has MS Dynamics Nav knowledge on both Functional processes & Administration.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business central Certification is an added advantage.
- A minimum of 2 years in a fast-paced IT support environment.
Additional Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-directed and able to work without supervision.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
- Working knowledge of DBMS systems such as Microsoft SQL, and MYSQL.
- Working knowledge of AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Servers, and Linux.
- Working experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
- Excellent technical knowledge of network, PC hardware & software, including Microsoft’s cloud platform.
- Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
- Working technical knowledge of current network protocols, operating systems, and standards.
- Willingness to learn on the job, ability to prioritize tasks, and efficiently manage time.
- Availability to work occasional after-hours and weekends for IT-related projects.
- Ability to maintain open communication & positive working relationship with staff.
