As a Light Duty Driver, your primary responsibility involves the safe operation and maintenance of light vehicles for the transportation of goods, materials, or passengers. This position demands a steadfast commitment to safety, unwavering reliability, and exceptional driving proficiency. The role of the Light Duty Driver at Seflam SGL LTD is pivotal in guaranteeing punctual and secure transportation services, contributing significantly to the company’s operational efficiency.
Tasks & Obligations
- Safely operate and maintain light vehicles for the transportation of goods, materials, or passengers.
- Adhere to all traffic rules and regulations to ensure safe and responsible driving.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely and secure transportation services.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure the cleanliness and neatness of the vehicle’s interior and exterior.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents promptly to the appropriate authorities.
- Collaborate with the logistics or transportation team to coordinate schedules and deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients, colleagues, and other road users.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism in all aspects of the driving role.
Qualification
- Interested candidates should possess 4 – 6 years of work experience.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry courier is a must.
- Possess at least OND.
