Who Are We Looking For?

As a Product Manager at OppFi, you’ll join our expanding Platform Value Unit team, a pivotal force driving the enhancement of our platform’s foundation. This role holds significant importance in our data-focused evolution, contributing to the organizational shift towards data-informed strategies. You, as a Product Manager in the Platform Value Unit, will play a central role in the large-scale deployment of data infrastructure products. Collaborating closely with diverse units spanning analytics, engineering, marketing, and more, you’ll facilitate the creation of top-tier data products, empowering extensive data-driven decision-making. Key Duties and Accountabilities

Lead Platform Value Unit roadmap initiatives, collaborating closely with data engineering and InfoSec teams to efficiently operationalize and unleash data value.
Engage cross-functional groups to pinpoint gaps in user data experiences, prioritizing and executing novel and ongoing ventures.
Devise and implement solutions for enhanced accessibility, user-friendly data analytics, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Continuously identify prospects for automation, cost reduction, and self-service models where viable.
Track data engineering and analytics trends, integrating insights into product strategy for judicious data product development.
Foster robust rapport with internal stakeholders, customers, and partners to ensure favorable data product adoption and contentment.
Attain measurable ROI by establishing relevant KPIs, aligning stakeholders, and assessing technological options.
Supervise diverse facets of the data platform encompassing reliability, observability, scalability, security compliance, and release protocols.
Manage end-to-end project oversight, encompassing requirement identification, root-cause analysis, communication of discoveries, and execution of solutions.
Collaborate closely with a specific business segment, overseeing comprehensive requirement gathering, analysis, projects, outputs, and ensuring transparent deliverable expectations.

Qualification & Expertise

Over 2 years of hands-on involvement in product management, with a focus on B2C analytics, and a distinct advantage if coupled with FinTech exposure.
Proficiency exceeding 2 years in the realm of data engineering, data analytics, or related domains.
Advanced mastery of SQL, including complex querying and optimization techniques.
Proven ability to translate intricate data insights into actionable strategies, effectively communicating to both technical specialists and non-experts.
Skill in handling substantial datasets, transforming them into analytical outputs crucial for steering strategic experiments concerning pricing strategies, user experience enhancement, or curbing customer attrition.
Ideal academic background encompassing quantitative disciplines like Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
Capability to deconstruct substantial projects into manageable components, with a knack for transforming concepts into testable hypotheses or executable next steps.
Proficiency in AWS Data Analytics, leveraging its tools for comprehensive data insights.
Expertise spanning diverse platform stacks and toolsets, which may encompass Snowflake, Airflow Orchestration, and more.

Additional Requirements

Familiarity with cloud computing ecosystems such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
Competence in employing Product Analytics utilities like Heap or Fullstory, alongside adeptness in Data Visualization Tools such as Tableau or Periscope.
Demonstrated track record of collaborating with cross-functional units across the organization.
Proven experience in steering end-to-end ETL data pipelines.
Flexibility in navigating a dynamic, rapid-paced milieu, underscored by a growth-oriented outlook and a receptiveness to constructive input.

Salary Range

The minimum salary for this role is $94,000. The total compensation package includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses as well as a 1-time equity grant based on level.

The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be at the company’s sole discretion, and determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations.
