Job Description
This is a dual-purpose position that requires the person to increase Visa Business Solutions’ customer base through both product delivery and sales (Small Business, Middle Market, Large Clients, and Government). In order to expand Visa Business Solutions, find new partners and revenue streams, and win over new clients by strengthening relationships with both old and new partners, the aforementioned person will be in charge of all market expansion projects.
The individual must also have a strong desire to establish relationships with all the various internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Engage federal, state, and local governments proactively in Southern African important markets.
- Show that you have a solid understanding of payment flows to corporations and the public sector, as well as expertise in commercial solutions and working with the government as a customer.
- Through research, help Visa better understand the opportunities and trends around government payments.
- Coordinate with the Central Business Solutions team, GR, BD, Region, VCA, Processing, IC, and other stakeholders on the best strategy to satisfy governmental requirements while expanding the commercial enterprise.
- Develop and implement creative Visa solutions to meet government goals and standards for G2B and B2G opportunities by identifying and developing qualifying revenue-based government payment prospects.
- Promote Visa’s value proposition through a variety of outreach initiatives, including case studies and government forums.
- Work with peers and partners to create business solutions to develop and implement strategies to improve payments volume and secure long-term revenue with key issuers and other critical partnerships throughout small business
- Drive new purchase volume and revenue with Visa commercial issuers across all groups by concentrating on doing so.
- Contribute to the annual business/account plan for the assigned clients by coordinating closely with the country manager and the relevant issuer AEs to decide on the necessary actions and deliverables.
Requirements:
- Must possess 8 to 12 years of experience issuing and acquiring commercial cards.
- It is necessary to have exposure working with financial institution clients in these areas.
- Demonstrated expertise in process improvement, commitment to client relationships, and a readiness to pick up and use efficient sales techniques
- Ability to create, manage, and close sophisticated, high-volume sales efforts
- Prior expertise carrying out strategic initiatives with effectiveness and integrity
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Have in-depth knowledge of commercial payments or related B2B industries
- Strong background in strategic, solutions-based selling to executive-level decision makers.
- Confidence and the capacity to create and deliver presentations to a variety of audiences up to executive levels
- Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing financial indicators to gauge business performance.
- Travel as required (50%)
