What You’ll Do for Us
We are looking for a Research Manager to support the success of our Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL) team’s existing and new experimental, quasi-experimental, and mixed methods evaluations on teacher leadership development, student outcomes, and long-term impact on systems and communities in order to advance Teach For All’s 25-year vision and intended outcomes.
The Research Manager will project manage ongoing studies, helping senior MERL team members in an essential way to guarantee that grant-funded research studies run smoothly and result in high-quality, cutting-edge research.
Responsibilities:
- Create new project management tools to track numerous grants and research projects at once.
- Make new arrangements for collaboration and communication amongst Teach For All teams, donors, network partners, researcher partners, and other suppliers.
- Aid in budgeting and resource management for Teach For All research projects.
- Help with the development of the research project proposal, project launch, equipment and procedure design, data gathering, analysis, and reporting.
- In partnership with Public Affairs, take the lead in creating new research evidence communications products like research briefs, infographics, and other communications tools.
- Encourage the publication of research results and their presentation, as well as other learning and communication activities.
- Creating and maintaining mechanisms for keeping track of fresh data and proof for the Teach For All network.
- Collaborating with network partners to create research concept notes in order to support future research
Qualification
- 4+ years of experience in a similar field or training
- A track record of managing research initiatives, including creating proposals, developing budgets, and coordinating data gathering
- knowledge of Stata or R
- Proficiency in written and spoken Spanish, French, Arabic, or Chinese (Mandarin)
- Having expertise in solving complicated and dynamic issues
Additional Requirement
- Comprehensive understanding of diverse communication channels and segmentation
- Demonstrates expertise in fundraising
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills along with strong active listening capabilities
