Who Are We Looking For?

The Strategic Information (SI) Lead will leverage data and information to drive strategic decision-making on the GC7 project, as well as optimize resources, and achieve the goals and objectives of the grant by harnessing the power of data and information effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the collection of relevant data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to standards.
  • Develop and maintain robust databases to store and manage information efficiently.
  • Use analytical tools and methodologies to derive meaningful insights from data for strategic planning.
  • Design M&E frameworks, indicators, and tools aligned with project or organizational objectives.
  • Monitoring Progress: Oversee the continuous tracking of project performance, ensuring it aligns with goals and target
  • Lead or contribute to evaluation activities to assess the impact and effectiveness of interventions.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Offer evidence-based recommendations derived from data analysis to optimize programmatic approaches.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Communicate complex data insights in a clear, understandable manner to various audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the setting up and deployment of daily/weekly Situation room meetings at the HQ and State level
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance the data literacy and analytical skills of team members.
  • Work closely with different departments or teams to ensure data needs are met and utilized effectively.
  • Explore and implement technological solutions to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and tools in data analysis and information management to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines in data collection, storage, and usage, especially in sensitive areas like health or social impact.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and donor reporting standards.
Qualification
  • Comprehensive understanding of HIV prevention strategies and treatment protocols
  • Proficiency in analysing epidemiological data related to HIV prevalence, transmission patterns, and risk factors to inform targeted interventions.
  • Strong networking and collaboration skills to establish and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of health system dynamics and experience in integrating HIV programs within broader health frameworks, ensuring sustainability and effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.

  • Possess strong project management skills to oversee SI initiatives, ensuring timelines, resources, and deliverables are met efficiently.
  • have the capability to lead and guide a team, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making within the project and SFH as a whole.
  • have a deep understanding of HIV/AIDS programs, familiarity with HIV epidemiology, treatment, prevention, and related policies.
